I absolutely loved photographing Alexa and Joe’s intimate wedding at Cummings Nature Center. It was incredibly intimate and was authentic to their relationship. It was so special to see them surrounded by their closest family and friends. Alexa and Joe decided to write their own vows. Their vows were incredibly personal and a reflection of their true love for each other. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience afterwards. About Cummings Nature Center
Cummings Nature Center is a Rochester NY wedding venue nestled in the finger lakes region of upstate New York. It is located a short distance in the enchanting town of Naples. This venue has over 900 acres and 15 miles of trails to explore. If you are inspired by nature and want a truly secluded venue look no further. This venue gives you the opportunity to share your love among the trees with your guests.
Ceremonies at this location take place in the pine forest. The clearing holds approximately 200 chairs and can be adapted to meet a variety of styles. The acoustics are very good at the ceremony site, but if you require electricity for a sound system it can be made available. The venue can also provide up to 125 wooden folding chairs for your ceremony and setup is included.
Receptions take place in the side yard area by the main building. Typically couples utilize a rented tent or the nature center pavilion. Both the pavilion and the tent site have sufficient power for caterers, sound, and lighting. The yard area is great for guests to mingle, and has plenty of space for yard games. Having your reception in the yard allows you to transition seamlessly from the ceremony to the reception.
